Love's Prophet by Melissa Storm - Book Blitz

Could his little girl be the messenger of God's love?

Before death carried her away, Rebecca James asked her seven-year-old daughter, Molly Sue, to help her grieving father find happiness again. Now, nearly a year later, armed with her mother’s memory and a determination to find her father’s smile again, this little girl will move big mountains to make sure her plan goes off without a hitch.
When cancer claimed his beloved wife far too soon, Liam James stopped living and started settling. But thanks to the still small light left in his world, his life is about to expand in ways he can't fathom. Could his young daughter really be the answer to the prayer he hadn’t dared to speak? And will the happy-go-lucky Sunday school teacher Molly Sue hand-picks to be her new mommy agree to work through their pain in order to bring about new joy for all of them?

Hi, and thanks for letting me into your mailbox today. My new book LOVE’S PROPHET just released this week, and I want to tell you a little about why this story is so important to me. This story involves much more than just another sweet romance. It includes a dying mother’s special wish and a seven-year-old girl’s secret mission to be her Daddy’s angel. It’s about second chances and learning to love again. It’s about finding faith when it seems as if all is lost, and mostly it’s about love—romantic love, friendships, the love a parent feels for his child, and the love these characters feel for the God who hasn’t given up on them yet.
I ran the entire gamut of emotions when writing this book. I smiled at Molly Sue’s innocence, especially considering many of her interests and quirks were based off those of my own little girl, Phoenix Ruby Storm. I swooned as Jennifer and Liam found their way to each other and swooned when my husband, Falcon, helped me plan their very special Disney date. That beautiful lantern scene? It came from the mind of my own Mr. Happily Ever After (Of course you’ll have to read the book to find out just how swoony that is)!
My aunt Cindy and uncle Darryl Powlison served as that first spark of inspiration for Liam and Jennifer’s story. My aunt was actually friends with my uncle’s first wife, who—like Rebecca—died young of cancer. The biggest reason, though, that this story is for them is because I first recognized true love when I saw the way they looked at each other. Even as a child, I could see how pure and full their hearts were for each other, and they kept that love burning bright as a beacon of hope and faith, even amid the darkness of the liver disease that would eventually take him. They never stopped celebrating their love, never stopped appreciating each other, never stopped believing in God or His plan. And I know they never will, even though Heaven parts them for the moment.
That’s the kind of love I write about, and that’s the kind of love you’ll witness in my newest book. I hope you’ll enjoy it.
All my love,
Melissa S.
